Pine Crest Recreation Building
More room to gather, create, play, and relax
Coming February 2027!!! The Pine Crest Recreation Building will add more than 1,100 square feet of flexible gathering space for our guests. The building will feature a spacious open-concept recreation area, full kitchen, dining area, and full bathroom, giving families and groups another comfortable place to spend time together.
During the summer season, the Recreation Building will be an extension of the Pine Crest experience—a place for families to spread out, play games, share meals, relax, or gather on a rainy day. During the fall, winter, and spring, the space will transform into a dedicated retreat space for quilters, crafters, and scrapbookers, with plenty of room for individual workstations, cutting and pressing areas, and time spent creating with friends.

In the Summer...
The Recreation Building becomes an extension of your cottage—a comfortable place to spread out, gather, and have fun. Play ping pong or board games, watch the game, enjoy a meal together, or just relax with family and friends. And when Michigan weather doesn’t cooperate, there’s plenty of room to bring the fun indoors.
During Retreat Season...
From fall through spring, the Recreation Building transforms into a comfortable, dedicated creative space for quilters, crafters, and scrapbookers. Individual workstations provide plenty of room to spread out, while dedicated cutting, pressing, and design areas make it easy to settle in and create. With a full kitchen, dining area, and bathroom all in the same space, groups can spend the day creating, visiting, and enjoying time together without having to pack everything up.
